Soda glycerin (sodium glycerophosphate) is used in ear drops to help soften earwax (cerumen). By softening the earwax, it becomes easier to remove or expel from the ear canal.

Soda glycerine dosage recommendations are:

• Instill 2 to 3 drops of Wax Aid into the affected ear(s) 2 to 3 times daily.

In case of overdose, seek medical attention immediately. Symptoms may include excessive earwax removal or irritation. Follow medical advice and monitor for adverse effects.

If you miss a dose, apply as soon as you remember. If it is close to the next dose, skip the missed application. Do not double up on doses.

Apply a few drops of the solution into the ear canal as directed on the packaging or by a healthcare provider. Follow the recommended dosage and frequency.

Soda glycerine should not be used in the following situations:

• If you have a known allergy to any of its ingredients
• If you have ear infections
• If you have a perforated eardrum
