10-01-2022According to the Monday statistics of NCOC, Pakistan has had 1,649 registered cases in the last 24 hours. This is the first time since October that the positive cases are crossing the limit of 1000. At present, the positivity rate of Pakistan stands at 3.66%

The Government has successfully administered over 162.1 million coronavirus vaccination jabs. This vaccination drive has successfully vaccinated 73 million people while more than 99 million masses have been partially inoculated.
Since the positive detection of omicron in Pakistan, the age limit for the administration of covid-19 booster jabs has been moved up to 30 years. The booster jabs are now available for people aged 30 years and above who are eligible for them.
The situation is quite alarming in Islamabad as the positivity rate has climbed to 2.5% in the last 24 hours.
