During the last 24 hours at least 181 infected cases were reported. Out of these 181 cases, 131 were from Lahore. She further added that the hospitals are also in the preparatory phase with the installation of separate counters.
It is also important to mention here that Punjab Minister for Disaster Management Mian Khalid Mehmood has directed the PDMA which is the Provincial Disaster Management Authority to make sure that the higher authorities are prepared to tackle this endemic.

While presiding the meeting he commented that the peek season and hours of dengue fever are from mid-September to December and two hours before and after sunrise and sunset respectively.
Ha said, “We must take precautionary measures against dengue during these times and ensure control over all stimuli that may lead to an increase in dengue growth.”
There are high chances that the disease will encapsulate the other regions of Punjab province such as Faislabad, Rawalpindi, and Multan due to the meteorological situations of these cities. Therefore, the administration and the public should be on high alert.
