Pakistan, Iran To Join Hands for Effective Health Care

The Health Ministry has released a statement stating that Pakistan and Iran are looking forward to bringing new avenues of opportunities for the improvement in the Healthcare sector of both the regions.

 

Both the countries have been enjoying common matters when it comes to global health issues. The representatives of the Health Ministry of Pakistan commented that enhanced consultation and real-time coordination in such scenarios from both countries is highly encouraged.

On the sidelines of the World Health Assembly in Geneva, Federal Minister of Health Abdul Qadir sat down with the Iranian Minister for Health and Medical Education Dr. Bahram so that active cooperation from both sides can be promised.

Iran has been doing remarkable reforms in the healthcare sector, in terms of increased healthcare responses and associated services. Iran is also revolutionizing their insurance coverage to extend health care accessibility.

The regional efforts of Iran have been in the limelight because of the remarkable efforts made by Iran during the COVID-19 pandemic necessities.

Pakistan’s stance was highlighted by the Regional Minister Abdul Qadir Patel who said that there is an apparent need for enhanced international cooperation so that the national health systems can be improved. This is to ensure that everyone is able to enjoy the same opportunities in the context of healthcare.

Both the countries are willing to embark on symbiotic relations so that the primary healthcare services can be improved by exchanging the healthcare finance experts.

The meeting concluded with the formation of a joint working group so that the premium health avenues can be explored.
