09-09-2021Today the number of fresh cases stands at 2,714.
The data also showed that the positivity rate has fallen to 4.78%. This is a milestone in fresh case reporting because the last time Pakistan reported the lowest positivity rate was on July 24 and that was 5%.
These NCOC stats are also a clear indication of the fact that the fourth wave of coronavirus is ebbing in Pakistan. The downward trend is really significant because the number of active cases currently is 77,532. This is a remarkable drop even from August when we were able to hit an all-time low with 80,000 active cases.
Statistics 15 Sep 21:
Total Tests in Last 24 Hours: 56,733
Positive Cases: 2714
Positivity % : 4.78%
Deaths : 73
Patients on Critical Care: 5122

In the last 24 hours, we were also able to hit the 1.1 million mark of recoveries with 10,923 people recovering from the coronavirus. In the span of the last 24 hours, Pakistan has also reported 73 fatalities, pushing the death toll to 26,938.
This drop in active cases is all thanks to the strict Government policies about the administration of covid inoculations. The administered Covid Vaccines are 68,227,337. If we are to assume the fact that every person needs 2 doses for the proper administration of the inoculation, that is even enough to vaccine about 15.8% of the population.
So be a part of the vaccinated masses and play your key role in fighting off this deadly disease.
