The Ministry of National Health Services Regulations has declared that the situation will keep on getting worse in the coming months of December and January because of weather changes.
This alarming situation is also leading to increased hospitalizations in the Ali Hospital, Capital Diagnostic Center, Max Health Hospital in Islamabad and in Family Hospital, Avicenna Hospital, Horizon Hospital, Inmol Hospital, and Baloch Hospital in Lahore.
The OPDs of these hospitals are crowded with cases of people who are complaining about sore throat, chest infections, fever, and pneumonia. The pollutants that are present in Smog are considered to be the main reason behind this increased case of hospitalizations in the country.
